Line Cook
Kitchen

This is a full-time, on-site role as a Line Cook at Piripi, located in Erie, CO. The Chef will assist in daily kitchen operations, ensuring the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes that align with Piripi's standards. Responsibilities include maintaining a clean and organized workspace, developing menu items, monitoring inventory, and ensuring food safety and hygiene practices. The Sous Chef will also collaborate with the Head Chef to foster a positive team environment and deliver exceptional culinary experiences to our guests.

Qualifications

  • Culinary skills, including cooking techniques, recipe preparation, and food plating
  • Experience in menu development and creativity in designing innovative dishes
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations, hygiene practices, and kitchen operations
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Passion for culinary arts and dedication to enhancing the guest dining experience
  • Formal culinary education or equivalent professional kitchen experience is a plus

Pay

Hourly: $18/hour +  whole house tips

Prep Cook:
Kitchen

This is a part-time, Prep Cook position. The Prep Cook will handle essential kitchen tasks, including food preparation, cooking, and assisting in kitchen tasks. Responsibilities include maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety standards, and supporting the kitchen team in delivering high-quality dishes. Collaboration and communication with team members will be critical to maintaining smooth kitchen operations.

  • Ingredient Prep: Wash, peel, chop, dice, and slice vegetables; cut and portion meats, poultry, and seafood.
  • Station Setup: Prepare workstations with all necessary ingredients and equipment before service.
  • Basic Cooking: Prepare simple dishes, sauces, stocks, and soups, or handle basic cooking tasks like reducing sauces or parboiling.
  • Food Storage: Label, date, and properly store food products in refrigerators or freezers.
  • Sanitation: Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workspace, following health department regulations.
  • Kitchen Support: Unload food deliveries, restock, and assist other kitchen staff

Pay

Hourly: $16/hour+ whole house tips
